Am I eligible for the CDCP?+
You must have no access to dental insurance, an adjusted family net income under $90,000, be a Canadian resident for tax purposes, and have filed last year’s tax return. Service Canada / Sun Life determine eligibility and send a welcome package with your coverage start date.
Do you accept CDCP patients?+
Yes — we are a participating clinic. Bring your CDCP member card and a piece of ID, and let us know when you book so we can confirm what your plan covers.
Will the plan cover everything?+
No. The CDCP reimburses eligible services at set rates; depending on income you may have a co-payment of up to 60%, plus any costs the plan doesn’t cover. We confirm your estimated portion before treatment.
The CDCP is not a free dental program — a co-payment of up to 60% may apply depending on your adjusted family net income, and not all services are covered. Participation is voluntary and not every office participates.
